THE COMMISSION PROCESS
Here is an overview of the commissioning process for scientific illustrations:
2) ROUGH DRAFT
Our scientific illustrator will create a few hand-drawn drafts to explore various ideas, concepts and designs.
1-3 days
1) PROJECT BRIEF
When the client reaches out to Nanoclustering Scientific Illustration, we schedule a call or video meeting to discuss the project brief. In cases where time is limited, we can also address the brief through a series of email exchanges.
1-3 days
3) FIRST SET OF CHANGES
The client has the flexibility to make any necessary adjustments to the rough draft, ensuring that the content is accurate and aligns with their overall vision.
1-7 days
4) FULL COLOUR RENDER
After finalizing the draft, we proceed to create a fully textured and rendered illustration.
~7 days
5) SECOND SET OF CHANGES
The client can request minor modifications to the completed render.
1-7 days
6) ILLUSTRATION COMPLETED
After the client approves the final look, we deliver the completed illustration in the requested file format.
